Job description:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and understand shop orders, production schedules, and written/verbal instructions.
• Meet and exceed company expectations for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Inspect products and identify, separate, and report defective or non-conforming parts.
• Monitor employee attendance, attitude, performance, and work quality.
• Assist the Supervisor with recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, discipline, and employee performance.
• Assist in directing associates to meet production volumes, quality standards, production schedules, and delivery deadlines.
• Train new employees on work procedures, safety requirements, and other job-related duties.
• Ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and report maintenance concerns as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40+ lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and reach as required.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and well organized.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform multiple job functions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Language & PPE Requirements

• Basic understanding of the English language required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required.

Job Type

• Full-time

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Day and evening shifts available
• Overtime available
• Weekends as needed
